1) Describe the steps involved with the Rapid Evolutionary Prototyping approach as it applies to developing a Web application.
Ince (2004, p. 25) explains current estimates are that one calendar year is equivalent to seven web years. Hence it is extremently important for companies to develop products and services very quickly. Rapid Evolutionary Prototyping assists in getting systems delivered quickly by having just 2 phases, the prototyping phase and the implementation phase. To achieve this, many existing standalone components are put together to form the application. Object Oriented programming languages have enabled this to happen as components once developed can be used again and again in different web applications. Resusable design and design patterns have assisted in the reuse of these components.
