Question 8.
How does it operate?
My virus checking software operates by scanning files and comparing them to a database of known viruses and against a set of characteristics that reflect virus behaviour. Files can be scanned as they are opened, closed, executed, or as part of a full computer-wide scan. If a virus is detected, the software renders it harmless, either by repairing it or denying access to the infected file. The virus checking scans run automatically and you can set them to occur Monthly, Weekly or Daily if you want to.
